Join Emily Stone and Katie O’Donnell for Crafty, a focused, two-week Zoom course designed to help you transform and sharpen your ideas into propulsive narrative. Meeting twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 7th to July 16th, this course offers craft-driven lectures to help you build compelling scenes.
Designed for writers working on novels, short stories, or creative nonfiction at any stage of the process, Crafty is ideal for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of craft while generating material for an existing project— or discovering a new one. Each session features an engaging lecture paired with craft-centered prompts to inspire your writing. You'll receive two optional prompts per week to help you practice the skills covered in the lectures. These prompts are entirely flexible. You can complete them on your own schedule, or simply use them as inspiration. There is no required homework.
The deadline to sign up is June 23, 2026.
